The short answer

27 Certified Vādma Practitioners describe the Vādma Practitioner training in their own words, most of them on video. The training is run only by the Vādma Institute; admission is by application, and certification comes with a 12-month mentorship. Practitioners describe what they learned, how the training changed their own lives and why they now give Vādma sessions to others. Because they completed the training and now work as practitioners, they are not neutral observers, and their reviews should be read that way. Every review links to its source, so you can watch or read it where it was published.

Questions about Vādma

Updated

What is a Vādma Practitioner, and how do I check one is certified?

A Vādma Practitioner is someone certified by the Vādma Institute, the only place where Vādma is taught. To become certified, a practitioner completes a 7- or 8-day in-person training followed by 12 months of live online mentorship. Certified practitioners are trained in anatomy, first aid and contraindications. Only Certified Vādma Practitioners give real Vādma sessions. Some people copy the style of Vādma videos or use the name for breathwork or other methods that are not Vādma. If a session is not clearly offered as Vādma, it is not Vādma, and even if it looks similar, it is not Vādma unless the practitioner is certified by the Vādma Institute. Ma Ananda Sarita, PhD, a teacher of tantra, meditation and holistic healing, says that while a session is quick and easy, it takes very profound training to give one. To check a practitioner you found on Instagram, use the Vādma Practitioner Verification extension for Chrome, which shows whether they completed the Vādma Institute training. You can also send a request through vadma.org to be matched with a certified practitioner near you.

How do I become a Certified Vādma Practitioner?

You become a Certified Vādma Practitioner by applying to the Vādma Institute for its Vādma Practitioner training and completing it. The training is a 7- or 8-day in-person certification, followed by 12 months of live online group mentorship. Trainings take place in Mallorca, Spain, and near Mexico City, Mexico. The application has three steps: a short quiz, a full form and a video interview. Places are by application only, and prior experience working with clients is required. The training is meant for people who already work with people, such as bodyworkers, massage and somatic therapists, breathwork facilitators, yoga teachers, energy healers and other wellness practitioners. Certified practitioners are trained in anatomy, first aid and contraindications. Kevin Libawski, the Vādma Master Teacher, trains and certifies practitioners through the Vādma Institute. When you complete the training, you are certified by the Vādma Institute and can give real Vādma sessions to your own clients. More practitioners certify with every training, and around 150 certified practitioners are projected by early 2027. Current dates, prices and the application are on vadma.org.
