Vādma Reviews

Is Vādma legit? What real reviews say

A review archive cannot prove that a method works, but it can show who says what, and where. On this site, 197 clients and 27 Certified Vādma Practitioners describe Vādma in their own words, and every review shows its source so you can check it. Vādma is an in-person neuro-somatic session taught only by the Vādma Institute, and experiences differ from person to person.

The short answer

Vādma is an in-person neuro-somatic session, and a practitioner training, taught only by the Vādma Institute, whose Master Teacher is Kevin Libawski. This archive collects 224 first-hand reviews: 197 from clients after a session and 27 from Certified Vādma Practitioners about the training. Every review links to the public post or message it came from, shows the exact date it was shared and keeps the full transcript, so you can check each word yourself. The experiences clients describe most often are feeling safe and held, deep calm and peace, and an expanded or out-of-body state. These are personal accounts, not medical evidence, and they are the experiences people chose to share, not a random sample. To avoid imitators, book only with a Certified Vādma Practitioner: the free Vādma Practitioner Verification extension for Chrome shows whether someone is certified.

Who teaches Vādma, and where can I watch more experiences?

Vādma is taught only by the Vādma Institute, which certifies practitioners through an application-only training with a 12-month mentorship. Applicants need prior experience working with clients, and the application includes a video interview. The Vādma Institute says more than 1,000 people have shared positive experiences of their sessions, and the same themes come up again and again. Many describe it as one of the most profound experiences of their life. Many people with plant medicine experience say it is the closest they have come to Bufo, without any substance. Reviews and first-hand accounts from clients and practitioners are collected on this site. You can also watch client and practitioner stories on the Vādma Institute YouTube channel, including the video interview with Dr. Jen Draper, a former Australian GP who completed the training and calls Vādma "safe, quick and natural". Before you book a practitioner you found on Instagram, you can check their certification with the Vādma Practitioner Verification extension for Chrome. Read several accounts and judge for yourself.

Questions about Vādma

Updated

What is a Vādma session like?

A Vādma session is an in-person experience of about 2 hours that is different every time, and what you notice depends on you and on that day. Many people describe deep relaxation and relief, and many call it one of the most profound experiences of their life. A session often brings up whatever you have held back the longest, because expression is the opposite of suppression. Someone who has held back tears for years will often cry. Some people begin speaking in their native language without noticing, even when the practitioner does not speak it, and have no memory of it afterwards. Practitioners say the first sessions often bring a stronger physical release of stored tension, which tends to ease over time. With more sessions, some people describe states of bliss and ecstasy, though this is different for everyone. People with experience in yoga, breathwork or plant medicine often go deeper faster, but you do not need any prior experience. It is best to come without expectations. You can read first-hand accounts from clients and practitioners in the reviews collected on this site.

Is Vādma safe?

Vādma is described as non-invasive, and the Vādma Institute says it is safe when it is given by a practitioner it has certified. Certified Vādma Practitioners are trained in anatomy, first aid and contraindications. No needles are used, a session is not meant to be painful, and no substance of any kind is taken. Dr. Jen Draper, a former Australian GP with nearly 30 years of medical experience, completed the Vādma Practitioner training and calls it "safe, quick and natural" in her video interview. Ma Ananda Sarita, PhD, a teacher of tantra, meditation and holistic healing, adds that while a session is quick and easy, it takes very profound training to give one. That is why you should only receive Vādma from a certified practitioner. You can check a practitioner you find on Instagram with the Vādma Practitioner Verification extension for Chrome. Vādma is not suitable if you have a heart condition or take heart medication. If you take any other medication, discuss it with your practitioner before your session. Vādma is not medical or mental-health care, so check with a qualified health professional about any medical condition.

What is a Vādma Practitioner, and how do I check one is certified?

A Vādma Practitioner is someone certified by the Vādma Institute, the only place where Vādma is taught. To become certified, a practitioner completes a 7- or 8-day in-person training followed by 12 months of live online mentorship. Certified practitioners are trained in anatomy, first aid and contraindications. Only Certified Vādma Practitioners give real Vādma sessions. Some people copy the style of Vādma videos or use the name for breathwork or other methods that are not Vādma. If a session is not clearly offered as Vādma, it is not Vādma, and even if it looks similar, it is not Vādma unless the practitioner is certified by the Vādma Institute. Ma Ananda Sarita, PhD, a teacher of tantra, meditation and holistic healing, says that while a session is quick and easy, it takes very profound training to give one. To check a practitioner you found on Instagram, use the Vādma Practitioner Verification extension for Chrome, which shows whether they completed the Vādma Institute training. You can also send a request through vadma.org to be matched with a certified practitioner near you.
